out ash; wipe with a slightly damp soft cloth to remove ash or light oil marks;
avoid abrasive pads

●     Deep Cleaning: Soak in warm water + mild
dish soap for 15–30 min, clean with a soft brush; for stubborn scorch marks,
apply baking soda paste and gently scrub; avoid sudden temperature changes (hot
to cold)

●     Usage & Safety: Use a ceramic ash
plate or fill with incense ash (keep loose) for stick/coil placement; some are
dishwasher-safe (check product info)

●     Avoid: Avoid strong acids/alkalis; no
steel wool; no rapid cooling while hot

Wood

●     Routine Care: After cooling, gently tap

Stone

●     Routine Care: After cooling, dust with a
soft cloth; clean with mild detergent or neutral soap and warm water, then dry
thoroughly

●     Deep Cleaning: Soapstone can be
conditioned with a thin layer of mineral oil/wax (will darken color);
marble/limestone should avoid acidic cleaners

●     Usage & Safety: Handle with care to
avoid chipping; some soapstone burners should not contact essential oils

●     Avoid: Avoid acids (especially for
marble types); avoid sharp or hard objects scratching the surface

Metal

●     Routine Care: After cooling, empty ash;
wipe with a dry cloth or soft brush; wash with warm water + mild dish soap,
then dry completely

●     Deep Cleaning: For stubborn residue,
apply baking soda paste and gently scrub; use brass polish for uncoated brass;
for charcoal burning, use sand/ash as a heat buffer

●     Usage & Safety: Use tongs for
charcoal; for resin, use a metal screen with foil lining, or freeze then tap
off residue
